We’re Tommaso and Leonardo, two twenty-year-old guys passionate about nature and adventure. We both study engineering, and whenever we can, we put our books aside to explore the world out there. After some experiences in the Dolomites, a friend’s story inspired us to take on something much bigger: crossing the Icelandic Highlands on foot.
What started as a crazy idea turned into an unforgettable adventure, filled with surreal landscapes, challenges, and indescribable emotions. That’s why we decided to collect everything in this guide — not only to preserve our memories but also to provide practical information and tips for anyone dreaming of a similar journey.
For us, walking is more than just moving from one point to another — it’s a way to discover, test ourselves, and feel part of something greater. Through this guide, we hope to share a bit of what we experienced and inspire others like us to start their own adventure.
